teaser tuesday (15)

Tuesday, October 13, 2009 |
It's Teaser Tuesday, a bookish blog meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Here's how it works:

Grab your current read and let it fall open to a random page. Post two (or more) sentences from that page, along with the title and author. Don’t give anything vital away!

“‘Your parents are both dead, murdered this night in Sarajevo.’

Alek tried to laugh at this absurd statement, but the world twisted sideways under him, darkness and silence crashing down.”

-p. 18 of Scott Westerfeld’s Leviathan

This looks very interesting. I'm not familiar with this author. I'll have to check this book out.

This sounds like a great teaser! I was not to sure about this book but the teaser sounds wonderful. Why is he laughing at that comment? Its almost like he is trying to cover up feelings or maybe something else?

I didn't do the teaser this week, this week is Where are you? If you would like to stop by and check it out I just got it up.

I had this book in my hands on Saturday, but didn't get. Still kinda kicking myself. I was suprised at how heavy the book was. I think it's because the paper is thicker.
